Introduction
Air-cooled condensers, utilizing air as the cooling medium, are crucial for the efficient electrical output of power plants. These condensers are predominantly installed in regions like the Middle East, Africa, and inland areas globally, where water scarcity is an issue. Compared to water-cooled condensers, air-cooled condensers are increasingly preferred worldwide as a solution to environmental challenges, such as rising water temperatures.
ENERGYEN uses its own ACC tube bundle automation equipment for fabrication, produces ACC peripherals in-house, and also offers supervision of field management, such as dispatch of supervisors.
AIR COOLED CONDENSER FINNED TUBE TYPE
Finned Tube is the core technology of Air Cooled Condenser as shown below and the type of Air Cooled Condenser is classified by type of Finned Tube applied.
- Single-Row Condenser : Flat Tube with brazed aluminum fins.
- Multi-Row Condenser : Circular Tube or Oval tube with aluminum fins.
Conventional design
Good corrosion resistance
More power consumption
Dead zone some
Weak Flooding & Freezing
Low ROI
Advanded design
Easy HP water Fin Cleaning
Less power consumption
Less Floding & Freezing
High ROI
Circular finned tube
(Aluminium fin)
Oval finned tude
(Galvnized steel fin)
Flat finned tude
(Aluminium fin)
The demand for both circular finned and oval finned tube condensers is declining, attributed to their reducing of turbine efficiency. Factors such as decreased flow of condensed water and steam, a smaller heat exchange zone, and the propensity for water to freeze during the winter season, all render CDC and OFC ineffective.
In contrast, our flat finned tube condenser has been specifically designed to address these inefficiencies associated with both circular finned and oval finned tube condensers. It is now broadly implemented in the majority of recent ACCs, showcasing its effectiveness and reliability.
